An open letter to Lance Shockley’s daughters. Girls, when I think about your dad and all I've witnessed him do for Christ with the men inside this institution; it brings tears of joy to my eyes. Your dad and I have prayed with many men inside the church and watched them grow along the way.

Bradford Loomis shares the story behind his trip to Potosi Correctional Center to play some music and meet some of the men, and how his meeting Lance Shockley made an indelible impression on him. Years later Bradford attended Lance’s appeal hearing, and that changed his life and understanding of the justice system forever.
